  Our big and heavy Dirt Devil Platinum Force quit after 5 years of service and we decided to try something lighter and much less expensive.The Breeze arrived in 3 days, even with free shipping - thanks Amazon!Assembly was a breeze, just 4 screws.   The Breeze is a mixe bag(less) of good and not so good

  First off, how do you say "mixed bag" about a "bagless" vacuum? Well however you say it, here is my opinion on it - the good and the bad. I purchased mine as a second vac, and despite past nightmares with entry bagless vacs, wanted something I could empty after each occasional use vs. store away with a partly filled bag.On the pro side: This unit is VERY light in weight. Great for those with arthritis or anyone who is carrying a vacuum up and down stairs. What is not lightweight is the power - it definitely has good suction. I also like the slightly narrower width whem compared to most other vacuums - 13" wide vs the more common 15" wide may not seem like much, but this fits in narrow places yet is still a full power vac.On the neutral side: Emptying is easy, but like most entry level bagless units, the filter is a mess to deal with.   Built Like a Tank, Sounds Like One, Too!

  I've had my Dirt Devil Breeze for (3?+) years now (Obviously an older version but based on what I see from the picture nothing had changed much.) Bought this as replacement to a previous vacuum cleaner which had the "fan" (not sure if this is the correct word for it) that was in the path of the dirt (I believe that was a hoover). I used it to pick up some solid object and got stuck in the "fan" which caused it to break on me. The design of the breeze was a lot better since the filter catches objects before it gets to the suction mechanism. Overall, does what its supposed to do.Cons:- The exhaust out in front was definitely a design "duh". But you wouldn't realize it till you use it for picking up light material (e.g. small bird feathers).- Is there an easier way to switch from bottom suction to the onboard tools?- Emptying the canister is definitely a hassle (but sames me money in the long run)- *LOUD* And I cannot say this enough.   This thing sucks

  I got this vacuum for thirty bucks so keep that in mind. There are units out there that cost ten times that. So how does the Dynamite Plus stack up? It sucks! Very, very well. I don't think I have ever used a vaccum that had such powerful suction. I bought a Dirt Devil cordless unit (the one that no one seems to like) about a year ago and it was garbage. I wondered if anyone really needed cordless while in the confines of their own home. Most likely not. Why not trade the dubious benefits of cordless for maximum sucking power? For the price there is proably no vacuum made that is more powerful. So why only 4 stars? Despite a vacuum that seems well built, convenient, light, bagless, portable, etc., there is one thing that is insanely ridiculous about the Dynamite Plus' design. All of that powerful suckiing power shoots right out a front grill of the vacuum. Like a tornado!!!!   You really can't beat the price for the quality and ability of this little vacuum cleaner. But beware, it is little, best for smaller spaces or an apartment. The suction and hose attachment function well. It's very portable and easy to remove the canister. Although getting all the debris out of it takes a good amount of shaking.   Haven't had the unit long enough to be very critical.The unit is only 7 amps but seems to pick up dirt like a 10 amp, lots of power to work the brush's and suck up the dirt.   Poor Quality - Same Cost as Brand Name

  Paper too thin, get a HEPA - standard quality filter, it can be generic, if it paper quality was included in this filter, not worth a dime. This was my first replacement for my great little dirt devil. My vacuum is new and only 3 small rooms I vacuum regularly, but my dog tracks a lot of hair and mud so I need to replace the filter more often than most. This was the first F2 filter with the cylindrical cone shape I needed, so I ordered it without considering how the quality would differ. The paper is so thin in comparison to the name brand and original filter that instead of lasting through a dozen dirt-packed vacuums it lasted only through 2 dirt-packed vacuums. Barely, at that, since the paper was so thin I could not twist filer from top because it failed to untwist the bottom part, the stiff quality filters can be twisted (unlocked) if you grab it anywhere.   Filters the cost, it crazy of paper&plastic.

  I used the dirt devil about 2/3 time a week and with in three months or so the filter is toast. Its not that cheap to replace a small paper&plastic filter and makes keeping the dirt devil a waste of money. I purchase my dirst devil at xmas for $20 but in less the one year three filter it now cost $41 and the years not done. Bull on them for the cost to replace this small filter.   I wanted to write this review because there were somenegative reviews which almost caused me not to buy it, but Ibought it anyway.   Pleasantly surprised

  My father bought me this vacuum for Christmas since my old hand me down one finally died. I opened the package and was worried that it wouldn't be very strong considering it's size... WOW. I have a cat and a dog and this thing picked up every single hair in the house. I was shocked to see how much dirt had been in my carpet all this time... and more shocked that this lightweight vac picked it all up. It's great for the stairs too because it's so light.   It is just a hair off from the tech specs for the product and unlike the original filter than came with my new vacuum, this one is very hard to fully lock into place.
