  I agree with every review, FANTASTIC product!!!

  This is the most powerful little vacuum I've ever had, The most ingenious invention is the little retractable crevice tool. In my whole life I've never attached a crevice tool even when I needed it just out of laziness. This just sucks up dust immediately in between anything. It doesn't hold alot of dust so after each use I just take an old dish/pot brush and brush off the filter.The dust sticks to the cloth filter and will not come off just by tapping it along side your garbage pail like the instructions say. Takes a minute and is well worth it as this is more powerful than my canister vacuum. I started to use it on a small area of my living room rug where lint always sticks at the entrance and ended up doing the whole rug and went on to other rooms.   I'm amazed at how well this works!

  I got myself a Dirt Devil KURVE off [...] about a year or so ago and never quite liked it. Sure it picked up some dust and crumbs, but always felt like it didn't have enough juice.Not being one to care whether or not it was cordless or corded, I got fed up and decided to check Amazon for a better vaccuum. After reading the reviews for this model (most are found on the older Scorpion model, but its the same machine overall), I decided to bite the bullet and get it - I mean for the price, you can't go wrong.Got it today, opened it up and plugged it in - used the handy extension and OMG. OMG. What suction for such a tiny little vaccuum. It started picking up things several inches away from the nozzle.Now me, I'm messy when I eat at my desk. I also smoke cigarettes so ash gets everywhere and crumbs get all in the keyboard, etc.. A few swipes with this baby and there wasn't a crumb or ash in sight.   Greatest Little Vac

  This product is superior by design. I am not a real fan of some of the Dirt Devil products but they really got this one down pat. The vacuum is superior to any other that I have ever had in this category. The nose in the front that flips down gets into all those tuff places in your car seats. The filter is easy to clean and there are replacements available. I do like the very long cord that comes with this vac. Some others have a little cord that really is a sorry way to do things.   This SUCKER really SUCKS!!! (in the best possible way)

  I apologize for the length of this "review". In the process of deciding which model of hand vac to buy, I ran into a number of confusing issues.First, before this purchase (of 2 hand vacs), I have never bought any hand held vac that was NOT a Black & Decker DUST BUSTER. I suppose that is because they were the first to have a cordless/rechargeable hand vac, and inertia took over when it came time for me to replace them. By the time the thrill of having that first rechargeable hand held vac wore off, there were other companies making hand held vacs, but I stuck with B&D's DB's. I cussed them out over various things - mostly they just weren't very good. There were few choices of model; the accessories from one generation didn't fit the next generation even when the next generation came on the market with no accessories (dust brush, crevice tools, etc.).   Works very well but does *not* feel secure on the wall mount

  This is a very nice little vacuum. I keep it in my garage, near the entrance from the kitchen, and use it for small jobs like cleaning the kids' crumbs off the car seats and floors, sucking up bugs and spiderwebs from the garage wall, cleaning food crumbs from crevices in the kitchen, and removing dust and crumbs from my computer keyboards and monitors. It has a small retractable brush that is very useful for car cleaning, and a plastic nozzle that can flip forwards to extend the reach, which is good for cleaning things high up and sucking up bugs.Apparently this device has a smart charger which does not simply keep the battery at full charge all the time but optimizes the recharging to extend the battery life. I have certainly not noticed any deterioration in the battery in the several months I have owned this vacuum.Opening the device to empty out the dirt is easy.   powerful small vacucm

  It's a powerful vacuum. It sucks dust and hair out of my carpet, crumbs too. It's small & convenient, I will probably use this more often than use a bulky vacuum.Keep in mind that this vacuum is design for vacuuming a small area not the whole house because the sucking hole is small and it's handheld. This little machine can not last vacuuming the whole house without overheating.I give it 4 stars because emptying the dirt cup is hell. It's bagless so you have to open it to empty. When you open it, dirt splashes everywhere. I find that all handheld vacuums are bagless.   Generally good purchase

  I am sort of a gadget queen, and was enamored of the infomercials on the Black and Decker Flex that is currently being advertised. However, a little research showed that, like most hand vacs, you only get 7-8 minutes of cleaning time before the charge runs out. Moreover, once the dirt cup starts to fill on most of these machines (and the filter clogs), the suction is pretty poor. That is NOT a problem for the Scorpion. It has a long cord, and it works very well. It is noisy; so what? It's a vacuum cleaner. One source of disappointment for me was that I also ordered the little set of attachments to clean computers and electronic equipment, only to find out after they arrived that they will not fit the Scorpion. It's hard to tell that before you get them, and they are advertised as items that "others bought when they bought their Scorpions."   Very high powered little vacuum!

  The turbo brush head on this vacuum is great for getting pet hair off the couch!I bought this hand held vacuum primarily to use at sucking dirt and dust out of cracks and corners, and to get pet hair off of my furniture. I sweep the larger areas of my floors, so I no longer needed the big old carpet vacuum that I'd had for a while (and since I took out my carpets, all I'd use that one for was to use the hose attachment to suck up corner dust). All I wanted was something small that I could carry around to get at areas where my broom wouldn't reach.   DON'T BUY THIS ONE

  I am sad to have to return this product, but it just is not very good. It sucks up stuff, just not very well. If I try to suck up hair, the exhaust fan blows so hard it blows the hair and other light objects away before you can suck it up into the vac.A year or two ago, I bought a $10 super cheap PANASONIC from Amazon just because it was so cheap and figured I'd try or toss it.   DON'T BUY THIS ONE

  This vacuum sucks. The battery life is way too short. I actually opened mine up to find out why- it has NiCd cells. No one used NiCd anymore (unless they want to be cheap) because their capacity sucks, they suffer memory effects, and they're extremely toxic to the environment. The charge lasts approximately a minute before becoming too weak to suck anything up. Again, don't buy this.   No power, battery life is 3 minutes at most after full charge

  I am very appalled at the low performance of this vacuum that I bought new for $20 this weekend 2/5/10. I charged it as requested for 12 hours and after that, it lasted a full 3 minutes before dying out! I could not believe it so I charged it again and the same thing happened. I am so disappointed because I really liked the design of the quick flip to get dirt out from my car. How can Dirt Devil sell this item when the battery dies out so fast? I have to return this and buy another brand because the Dirt Devil Detailer (also $20) that I bought for my car because it is tiny is so powerless and can't go in the cracks, and I have to hold down the button for vacuuming which makes for a painful cleaning time for my hands. I am in disbelief at the poor quality.   2nd time I have bought these, I have 2 Scorpions vacs for 3 yrs and still running strong. When it's time to wash the whites I take the dirty filter from my Vac and bleach it with them.   I have gotten regular upright vacuum cleaner bags from Crucial Vacuum that work great. Thought I would try the filters for my Dirt Devil because these were so much cheaper. They look great, good quality fabric, but they don't fit. The plastic band with the 3 tabs are a little too small to fit around the grey plastic filter holder on my Accucharge. If I try and force the filter on it is so tight that it bends the plastic holder and then the holder does not sit correctly in the canister.   I use this filter in both my old and new Extreme Power Rechargeable Handheld Vacuums and it lasts a long time. I vacuum it 2x per week when I have the big vac out. It looks good as new after I clean it off. Lasts me about 2 months as I use it in the kitchen after my bird and dog leave seeds, feathers and fur!   I was looking for a F4 filter replacement to fit into the filter adapter (part 1-ME1960-B00) on my Dirt Devil Extreme power hand vacuum. This product is actually the filter adapter combined with the filter itself. It's a perfect match for replacing the filter in this vacuum - only the color is white instead of grey like what was in my hand vac.   FAKE, but do fit

  These are NOT genuine Dirt Devil, and are not in the packaging pictured. They arrived in a ziplock bag, and are clearly not the same materials or quality of the original filter. With a bit of twisting they do fit into the vac filter holder and seem to work OK, but the filter material is thinner than the genuine item they replaced, so I'm not sure how they'll hold up.   Authentic product, very pleased

  I received genuine Dirt Devil filters; any bad review cant be about orginal product workmanship. My supplier, fulfilled by Amazon, was a company called S A Corp. At any rate, if you're looking for replacement filters for your Dirt Devil AccuCharge hand held (mine is new/purchased last month so I'm not speaking about any other models), these F4's are exact dark gray/black as came with my new vacuum. Note: the picture shows white. I bought these extras as a "wash and wear" (using my house vacuum to clean the dirty filters).   Strong suction

  This is essentially the Dirt Devil SD20005RED with additional attachments to use the back port for inflating stuff. As such, before I bought it, I read the reviews for the SD20005RED since the 0871Z is a new product and there are very few reviews about it yet.I'm going all corded this time. I just hate how wimpy the suction is on cordless vacs and how quickly they "die" when I'm in the middle of vacuuming. The 0871X has very strong suction. The suction is so strong that when you turn it on, the vac and your hand will jerk a little. The suction is still strong even when used with the extension hose.This hand vac comes with an attachment brush which is very useful when I'm cleaning furnitures and upholstery. I also especially like the flip-up crevice tool as there's no need to remember to pick up and bring a crevice tool with me when I'm cleaning.   Good Power but Flawed Inflator Attachments

  Seems to have good power. I like the clip-on carrying strap for it. I also like that it comes with a nylon bag that holds all the attachments. However, the inflator nozzle attachments have a design flaw: there is a gap/hole where the attachments link together, so more air blows out of that gap than it does out of the actual nozzle. Which is too bad because it seems like the nozzle would have good PSI if not for that gap.   Great suction power but my ear is ringing!!

  I purchased this 12 amp Dirt Devil after my 6 amp Eureka broke from 3 years of weekly use. I was very happy with my original 6 amps of power. However, I decided it was time to double up since I live with two cats that constantly shed. The DD does a great job at picking up furballs, sand, dirt, crumbs, small pebbles and many more from my hardwood and tile floors. Besides a great suction power, the DD is also light weight and stands up on its own. However, there are many drawbacks:1) Too LOUD!! I wear ear plugs every time I use this machine (seriously!!). We already know it has 12 amps of power... we don't need to hear it!2) The handle is too short. I am 5 feet 6 inches and I honestly feel that the handle is about 2-3 inches too short. I constantly find myself bending my back while using this machine.3) The vaccum head does not swivel. I loved the fact that my old Eureka had the ability to swivel.   Woohoo Power!

  I live in a dorm room, therefore I have very thin carpet in a very small living space. Nonetheless, I would still like it to be clean. So, I came to dilemma of whether to buy a full size vacuum or go for something smaller.   Sucks so hard it's scary

  I bought this unit because it had a "reasonable" 12 amp motor. I figured it would actually pick up dirt even without a beater bar. I was right more than I ever expected, in fact thats my only complaint. It is so powerful, that the outbound air often hits your legs with a high velocity blast of warm air and bounces around your work area moving the dirt and dust devils around. Other than that it is great. Light, extremly powerful, and easy to maneuver into corners.
