About this book
This volume includes edited and revised versions of the papers delivered and discussed at the recent Advertising and Consumer Psychology Conference. Following the theme of the conference -- "Measuring Advertising Effectiveness" -- the book blends academic psychology, marketing theory, survey methodology, and practical experience, while simultaneously addressing the problems and limitations of advertising. Acknowledging that advertisements are subtle, diverse, complex phenomena that require detailed investigation, this compilation explores the multidimensional nature of advertising's diverse effects from both academic and applied perspectives. Updates on theories and methods -- along with expert commentaries -- help to make this a valuable collection that will be of interest to advertising and marketing specialists and communications experts alike.

About this book
After six multiplatinum albums, seven consecutive Billboard Top 20 albums, and four Billboard Top Ten singles, Mötley Crüe are the undisputed heavyweight champs of rock music. Since the '80s they've been the voice of a barely pubescent Generation X, the anointed High Priests of pentagram rock, pioneers of Hollywood Glam, and the creators of MTV's first 'power ballad.' Their ravenous sexual appetites consumed celebrities from Heather Locklear to Pamela Anderson to Lita Ford, while their legendary scuffles involved everyone from Axl Rose to 2 Live Crew. Now, for the first time, the most influential, enduring, and iconic rock band of the 1980s reveals everything in a tell-all of epic proportions. They've collected automatic weapons, pushed the envelope of total drug abuse, and dreamt up backstage antics that would make Ozzy Osbourne blanch with modesty. They are the trailblazers of modern excess. Provocatively written and brilliantly designed, this book includes never-before-seen photos and behind-the-scenes paraphernalia. Whether you're a fan of Mötley Crüe, a fan of rock 'n' roll, or just a fan of outrageously bad behavior, you owe it to yourself to read this book - and experience the madness firsthand.

    Great suction!! Great Price!!

I have been looking at canister vacs for a long time. I bought one, hated it (the floor attachment kept falling off, the filter kept clogging), and ended up returning it. I am pleasantly surprised by this little machine...the suction is great, it's not too loud, doesn't clog, and it's lightweight. Plus the price is right!! I was looking into getting a miele until I found this. I use this at my vacation home (a 60 year old ranch home that produces a LOT of dust) where all the floors are hardwood or tile and I have an area rug. The vac works fairly well on the area rug, too. The handle feels much more solid than the previous machine I had and doesn't fall apart. And I actually prefer the bag to the bagless version I previously had. It is so much easier to change the bag than pull out a canister and have dust flying everywhere. I highly recommend this for someone who has a lot of hardwood floors and wants to get up ALL the dust on the floors, in the corners, under the sofas!!! 5/5 neatfreak - See all my reviews This review is from: Eureka ReadyForce Bagged Canister Vacuum, 900A (Kitchen) I have been looking at canister vacs for a long time. pros and cons

I needed a vac in a hurry after my 10-year-old Kenmore died, and since I have hardwood floors and an upright sufficient for my area rugs I needed another canister for floors, upholstery, lampshades and the like, but didn't need one with a power nozzle. With no time for online orders I shopped around the city and ended up with this little red Eureka. After a month of use, here are my pros: excellent suction, light weight, disposable bag. The cons: cheesy attachments, but fortunately the ones from my Kenmore fit the Eureka wand, so I use them. They fit on the "tool caddy" on the handle, but the caddy itself doesn't stay put and is in the way anyhow, so I'm going to try to jury-rig some way of attaching at least the upholstery and small brush to the canister. (Velcro?) The cord is too short, requiring an extension cord; more seriously, it gradually retracts, all by itself, so I must find some easy-on, easy-off device to clip to the cord to prevent that. And the hose pulls out of the... 3/5 Joan F. Good little vac, but BEWARE "MM" vacuum bags!

I won't go into all the pros/cons, as I think other reviews have it more than covered. For $60 this is a good and capable vacuum cleaner. But please don't make the same mistake I (and apparently many others) made and buy the "Generic Eureka Style "MM" Vacuum Bags, 9 pk. Made to Fit Eureka Part # 60295A"Although listed as "Frequently Bought Together," these bags decidedly DO NOT fit this vacuum cleaner. They are designed for a different, larger, vacuum and are not usable in this one. INSTEAD purchase the CN-4 bags (ASIN: B003L20FT0 or B002WJI92I). Hopefully Amazon will catch on and correct the item page... 4/5 Serzyt (Philadelphia, PA United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
