  belt good as long as it lasts

  This is an essential buy for Eureka maxima bagless vacuum because it breaks often [one in every 3months on average).   Broke the first day

  Both of these belts broke on the first day. The previous belt had lasted over a year. I thought these would be better, since their labeled as Extended wear. I picked up some cheap ones (not Eureka brand)at walmart, and they are fine. I guess EXT means extra thick, which also means less pliable.   Really makes the brush roll move

  I broke the belt of the vacuum when I first tried it. Replacing was easily done and now it works prefect, but that's not what baffled me. It arrived the day after I ordered it.   Only one little problem...Amazon needs to touch up the part number in all of it's listings.It needs to have the (39150)tacked on to the 60776. Most of the people that have run the re-charge life out of it and are looking for the replacement are looking for the 39150 number as it is on the battery and the Eureka label on the Vacuum.With the 60776 standing alone it leaves the impression that it's a battery for one of the other small Eureka machines. 5/5 Kellus Products "Steve Spears - Application E...   Overpriced but, works well.

  Overpriced, but works as advertised. I use this Product with a portable vacumn. It maintains a steady power delivery in the 6 volt range for a reasonable period of continous use. The battery pack functions well, delievering good performance, with a reasonable battery life. Came off the charger at 6.14volts and held charge off of charger for well over two weeks. These batteries will develope "memory" where the performance drops off drasticically. This be easily rememedied by completely draining battery, and then placing on charger for about 24 hours.   We had just completed a major remodel and there was post-construction dust everywhere. The drywall dust was very fine and the name brand bags I had been using weren't able to pick it up effectively, but these were. We have hardwood and tile floors with area rugs in several rooms. In addition we have two dogs and there is dog hair everywhere, always. (!) These bags fit (I have The Boss) and perform well at an excellent price. In my house, that makes them a keeper.   I bought these "generic" bags for our upright Eureka vacuum as the price was very reasonable for a pack of 10 bags. They work just as well as the original Eureka brand and cost a lot less!   Worked perfectly for "The Boss"

  I ordered two, got two ;)These belts worked perfectly on my housemate's Eureka "The Boss" (yellow cuz that's how she roll).I opted for these instead of the "extended" "heavy duty" ones because it almost sounded like the heavier duty material wasn't as flexible and folks were experiencing snappage! One reviewer suggested setting your vacuum to the appropriate height level for your pile carpet and that setting it too low was the fastest way to snap your bands. So I'm keeping that in mind too.On a technology aside: it's funny how often people think they need to replace something like a vacuum when they just need to get a belt. So many things are like this... we're so immediately overwhelmed by unexpected behavior from our tech I guess. And maybe a part of us is really looking for an excuse to get that new Dyson :p But once the old tech is repaired, it does often run very well.
