  There's not much to it

  This is a pretty simple product, not much could go wrong with it. I got it and yes installing new filters do make your roomba work better. I also recommend some of the replacement brushes if you feel your roomba isn't like it used to be.   Use canned air to make them last.

  Roomba owners know that a fresh filter captures more dust than an old one. If you haven't changed your filter in a while, you are really hampering the cleaning potential of your little robot helper. This is a good price and certainly much better than buying from irobot directly. I make my filters last much longer by taking them outside and using canned air to blast them "clean". It only takes about 5 seconds and makes them almost as good as new.   I thought that these filters were compatible with my Roomba 560 because it said "500 series compatible" and I figured that mine fell into that category. Wrong. These yellow ones are flat and the return policy is "no returns" basically so that's money down the drain. 1/5 0, November 1, 2010

  Sturdy and Long Lasting

  Bought these online because I couldn't find them in stores locally. There isn't much to say about a Vacuum Filter, but WOW! I tried these Crucial Vacuum replacement filters for our Roomba AeroVac and our Roomba is functioning at top level again. These new filters were a Godsend, and seriously half the price of the filters you can purchase from Roomba. Now I don't have to buy expensive replacement filters.   These finally arrived at Amazon!

  Last year I bought a refurbished 500 series roomba with the AeroVac bin, but there were no replacement AeroVac filters for sale on Amazon, and they were even hard to find on the roomba website. The two filters that came with the roomba were in pretty bad shape after a year of trying to clean them by shaking off the dust between roomba missions. I believe these only work in the AeroVac bins, so if you don't have the blue filters in you roomba, these may not fit.The new filters fit a little tighter than the old ones, but they work great.   It was time to replace my Roomba's original filter, so I figured at this price I couldn't go wrong. These filters are almost identical to the original filter, but seem to be about 1/10th of an inch longer. It didn't snap right into place like the original filter, and at first I thought the replacement filter was NOT going to fit my Roomba; however, if you give it just a little push it will pop into place.   Great but not perfect ***Downgraded Star Rating***

  My wife and I decided to get one of these because our 8 month old son is about to start crawling. While we try and keep our floors clean, our beagle has other thoughts as she sheds all over the place. We went with the latest 560 model as it has just about everything we would want with a product like this. It works as advertised and we will definitley keep it but there are some areas that need improvement. Here is a quick breakdown of the pros and consPros1. Quieter than a standard vaccuum2. Seems to learn the room dimensions quickly. The virtual walls and lighthouse feature are very nice.3. Is "smart" enough to avoid getting tangled in our area rugs4.   A Worthy Successor to the Roomba Line

  We have two Roombas plus a Scooba in our house. When one of the batteries on one of our Roombas finally reached the end of its life cycle, we decided to donate that Roomba to a friend and to get ourselves the new top of the line - the Roomba 560. We got this right when it first came out, but we waited several months before posting a review. It's pretty much impossible to review one of these Roombas after only a few days! It takes weeks if not months to start to see how well they last over time, and what breaks down. Believe me - been there, done that.So now it's many months later, and I have to say, we are quite pleased with the improvements of this Roomba over the previous generations of Roombas. So first, for those who don't even have ANY Roomba yet (hard to believe!). Roombas are awesome. We have cats, and we work from home so we're home all day. Because of that experience, the recounting of which is in the original review appended below after this update, I had not bought an iRobot product in over four years. Now I have bought two "new" 560s, which arrived today (more about "new" below).   I Look Askance at Five Star Reviews from People Who ONLY Review Aftermarket Roomba Products

  I do think that the validity of the review system is important to AMAZON. I use customer reviews frequently to determine if something is a good buy or not. If customers are shilling for the seller, and aren't giving an unbiased review, that diminishes the utility of the review system.Two of the three reviews here--all "five star" gushing and glowing-- as of my writing of this review were written on the same date. None of the reviewers participating thus far has reviewed anything other than aftermarket Roomba products.Forgive me if I look askance at these reviews.   Nowhere near as effective as the stock filters

  I own two Roomba 560's and purchased these filters about a month ago. They pick up much less dust then the stock filters do. I use an air compressor to blow the dust from my filters every 2-3 days, and the difference between the stock and HEPA filters is remarkable. I get a sizeable "dust cloud" when I blow out the stock filters and a barely noticeable dust cloud when I blow out the HEPA filter.I also agree with "Katherine of Amazon" that there's way to much "viral marketing" for this product. 1/5 anonymous (FL USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)   hard to say

  First, I don't see how this thing could be a real HEPA compliant filter. My other HEPA filters are as thick as my whole Roomba and this thing's less than 1 cm thick.My Roomba 530 Pet Series (I think that's right. It's a white one) definitely picks up less big stuff with these filters than it does with its iRobot AeroVac bin. I say this b/c it took a few runs to get some crushed leaves off the floor by the front door. That would make sense if Roomba has to force air through a more restrictive filter, which should be what this is. I hope that it's picking up more tiny particles and keeping them out of the air as the trade off. It hasn't been enough to noticeably help my wife's allergies though and I've been running the Roomba 2-3 times a day for about a month now. (there's also 2 HEPA filters going, an air ionizer, and the house HVAC unit his its fan pulling air through its filter 24/7 too)My attitude is that this is worth a shot.   Don't throw out your swiffers or brooms just yet

  I purchased this via Woot on impulse a month ago after I had just gotten a bonus at work. Basically, my idea was to try something like this before spending a lot of money on maid service (between the cost of day care and ordering in food more often and the maid service, maybe it would be better if I just stay at home, no?).If my Neato were a maid, I would fire him (I haven't named him but I've decided he's a he, probably because I am being reverse-sexist) due to these CONS:- He misses spots near corners and along edges (walls or low furniture).- He can't handle getting everything under the dining room table (has trouble getting around all the chair legs)- He has trouble transitioning from wood to high pile carpet (extra cushy carpet in our daughter's room).   The most awesome cleaning appliance ever!

  This machine is my new best friend! It is friggin amazing. I received it for Christmas and if I had known how much it cost I probably would not have taken it out of the box! Thank goodness I did because it is worth every penny! It is so smart, doesn't get stuck in tight spaces, goes under my bed for all the dust bunnies. It talks to me via its LCD screen. Only thing I have to do is pick up where I want it to clean and let it go. When it needs to be charged it goes back and docks itself and then returns where it left off! So, so cool!   Nice little robot vac with a few drawbacks

  This Neato is powerful for something so small and the square front lets it get into corners, which is an advantage over the Roomba. Its dirt bin is easy to clean, and it really does find its way back to its charger from anywhere in the house when the battery runs low (assuming you started it there), then picks up where it left off once it's charged again. But there are a few things I don't love about it:1. It doesn't beep if it needs help. It just stops. If you're far enough away that you don't hear the motor stop, you won't know that it's stuck or its sensor is dirty until you happen to go check on it. I would appreciate a nice loud beep to get my attention.2. In my house it doesn't really recognize separate rooms and clean one before moving on, even when it seems like it should be really obvious. At the end of my hall there are two bedrooms, one on each side, with standard doorways. It will go into one, clean a little, then come back out, clean the hall... 3/5 Anastasia M. I came up with a thousand reasons in my mind why it might be money down the toilet. However, I am happy to say that essentially the vacuum performs as well as could be expected.WORD OF CAUTION: This vac DOES NOT perform well on sculpted carpet-even if it has a short nap!   Clean House Every Day!!

  I have done a lot of research comparing all the robotic vacuums and came down to either CleanMate or Roomba. I finally decided on CleanMate as I sorely wanted the UV light disinfecting feature. Let me tell you that it really works, my old old house is finally odor free to my ultra sensitive nose. It also have 2 other features that I rate better than Roomba. The dustbin is visible easily and the remote is small and docked on the vacuum so it won't get lost. It charges rather quickly, I think about 2.5 hours and each charge is sufficient to cover my little house entirely. It moves deliberately and doesn't mar any furniture. I am extremely pleased as the price/performance is definitely the best in the current market, hands down.   Glad I purchased!

  Everyone in my house hates to vacuum so our floors (vinyl & berber carpet) would go weeks without cleaning. Finally, we decided to get a robotic vacuum and after doing a bit of research, decided on this one. We have it clean 1 room at a time and it does a great job. The dustbin is easy to clean, though it's a pain to brush off the air filter each time and it does need to be recharged after it's cleaned 2 rooms but otherwise, I have no complaints. We have a thick rug in our hallway and the robot has no trouble getting that clean either, just be sure to stay away from plush rugs! We don't have pets but we do track in a lot of pine needles and this guy gets them all.
