  Not the same pieces in order

  I ordered for of these, two came in one style that looked nothing like the picture (large square cover opening) and two looked like the picture..   Plastic vacuum hose

  I would have preferred to buy a nylon reinforced hose for durability, but the price difference dictated that it was not good value. This hose works perfectly well and doesn't kink easily. The quality is such that I anticipate a life of only about 5 years before it starts to split and needs duct tape repairs, as my last hose. My original nylon and wire reinforced Beam hose lasted 14 years. It's a decent hose for the price, but not the same high quality that is available for mega bucks. 3/5 A. Another reviewer is correct: The hose is not as sturdy as the one that came with the unit originally, but the light weight is an advantage in my case.   Overpriced junk with ZERO customer service

  As a frequent Amazon buyer and reviewer, I rely on honest reviews when making a purchase. I hope my review prevents someone from making the mistake of buying this piece of trash. This was purchased through a 3rd party seller who seemed to be honest and reliable. I even went to their website and read all of the glowing reviews (which I now KNOW for a FACT are completely fabricated) and boasts of exceptional customer service. What a joke! This hose is very, very poorly made:1) The hose is constructed from an extremely thin plastic. With minimal movement, it twists upon itself and kinks, completely cutting off suction. It is more prone to kinks than imaginable. I can hardly get a few feet without a kink.2) The hose texture is rough and beats the heck out of everything it brushes against. It is also very loud as it moves across the floor.   Nearly Perfect in every way.

  Hair causes it to seize

  The seal on the roller ends needs substantial imprvement because pet and other hair gets caught there and eventually the roller seizes up and it all has to be disassembled to clean which is annoying and time consuming.   After 17 years, the original air-driven brush gave up the ghost. This replacement seems to be almost identical to the original, or perhaps even a bit better.   great product for in house vacs

  This is a really great product, even though its a little older model. i know other newer models are available (Zoom, etc) but this one still works and works really well. easy to use and goes right under the chairs, sofas and stuff around the house. Nice wide brush comparable to a regulat vacuum. i was concerned about the potential noise.... but its quieter than most upright vacs. It sucks up pet hair well and almost everything else visible on carpets and hard floors, provided it goes up the tube. its light and easily manouverable. Dont expect the really deep down cleaning you might get with a high line $300-400 powerful upright machine, but do expect an easy to use syatem that for 90% of what you need, does a great job. We are so happy with it that while we were going to also buy an upright, we chose not to, as we really dont need it. the ding is for a need to pull out the assembly once in a while to remove the stuff that gets wrapped around the rollers, but it really isnt a... 4/5 big ears "sniffy" (pittsburgh pa) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)   Good Service, ...But

  Product was delivered almost immediately after ordering. Recieved it in just 2 or so days.But, product was not configured as described in ordering process. It required a modificationand part that was not in the original deliver. It was necessary for me to contact the vendor.It took at least 3 calls to reach the necessary support individual to corredt the problem. Ithen had to wait 3/4 more days for the necessary part (so much for the initial prompt delivery).Vendor was supportive, but the extra steps/hoops should not have been necessary.The product, once modified, is performing as expected.   Poor quality generic hose and tools

  The hose is pretty good and works well. The power head appears to be fairly generic (no name or label) but seems to work OK so far. All the additional tools are fairly cheaply constructed and not very high quality, but they're acceptable. No documentation came with the product (no user's manual, warranty registration, etc.). Have only had it about a week. Hope it will hold up long-term.UPDATE: Hose connects too loose to the wall valve! Keeps falling out! This happens to all the wall valves. Our old hoses fit snug. I'm not sure if there is a work-around. Very frustrating. On top of that, the hose kinks like crazy. Worse similar hose I've ever owned. 2/5 Jeffrey R.
